What We Collect

Analytics Data

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites. All data is aggregated — we see page views and referral sources, not individual visitor profiles.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other tracking scripts that follow you around the web.

Email Addresses

If you sign up for our newsletter or email updates, we collect your email address. We use Resend to send emails. Your email address is stored securely and is only used to send you the content you signed up for. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Cookies

BareMetalBench uses minimal cookies. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is completely cookieless — it does not set any cookies on your browser.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained in aggregate by Plausible — no individual visitor data is stored. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe, at which point they are deleted from our mailing list.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time
• Request deletion of your email address from our systems
• Ask us what data we have about you (spoiler: it is probably just your email address, if you signed up)

Children's Privacy

BareMetalBench is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
